This Privacy Policy explains what information Fate or Destiny ("we", "us") collects when you use fateordestiny.com, and how we use it.
Account information: email address and a hashed password when you register.
Birth data: date, time, and place of birth you submit to generate a Bazi or Tarot reading. This data is encrypted at rest.
Usage and technical data: IP address, browser information, and request timestamps, used to operate the Service and to prevent abuse of free-tier features.
Payment data: we do not process or store card details ourselves. Purchases are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, under its own privacy policy.
Reading interpretations are generated using third-party AI model providers. The birth-derived facts and reading context needed to produce your interpretation are sent to these providers solely to generate your reading; they are not used by us to train models.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, AI inference), and only to the extent necessary for them to perform that function.
We retain your account and reading data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption of birth data at rest and encrypted connections in transit, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
