These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fate or Destiny ("we", "us", "the Service"), accessible at fateordestiny.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Fate or Destiny generates Bazi (Chinese Four Pillars of Destiny) and Tarot readings using a combination of mechanical astrological/ divination calculations and AI-generated narrative interpretation. Readings are provided for entertainment, self-reflection, and informational purposes only. They are not professional advice of any kind — medical, legal, financial, or psychological — and should not be relied on as such.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering.
We offer certain readings free of charge, subject to fair-use limits per account and per network to prevent abuse. Additional readings and report tiers are available for purchase. Purchases are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, and Fate or Destiny is the seller and merchant of record for all orders — see our Refund Policy for details.
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to circumvent free-tier limits through multiple accounts or automated requests, interfering with the Service's operation, or using it for unlawful purposes.
The Service, its underlying calculations, prompts, and generated content format are our property or licensed to us. Readings generated for your own birth data are yours to keep and use personally.
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that readings are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. AI-generated content may occasionally be inconsistent or incorrect.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made based on a reading.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
